Everywhere I look I see people following the same old patterns, using the same old solutions, companies using the same techniques because "It's the way we always do it", people tweaking products and calling it innovation, management living as if the motto "If it isn't broke don't fix it" was tattooed on their forehead. I have always believed that there was another way, the unorthodox way, the great advances in the world are the results of following this route.

The path of orthodoxy produces the small steps forward, the great leaps are made on the path of UnorhodoxY. Sure, some of these leaps aren't always in the right direction but overall they drive us forward, to bigger and better things.

UnorthodoxY believes in generating unconventional solutions to problems, promoting existing sources of unorthodox thought and championing products that others might consider too out there.

Currently out free consultancy service, where we generate unorthodox solutions to companies problems, is only available in Edinburgh. However, we hope to make this service available, both on-line and in person, in other parts of the world shortly.
