What are 'The ideals of UnorhodoxY'?

Have a look at the Managing Directors take on the concepts for a better idea. Essentially we believe that there solutions to the problems faced in the world, from a personal to a corporate level, that are better than the traditional option. We aim to find these solutions wherever they exist, whether generated by UnorhodoxY itself or from external sources.

We believe that many people are stuck in a conceptual rut and taking a fresh, unorthodox, approach will reveal opportunities in all areas.

Yes, yes we did.

How can you offer free consultancy?

Our consultancy is free for several reasons.

  • We can't promise that our ideas will be workable or effective. The nature of the solutions we generate means that they may not be suitable for everyone.
  • We reserve the right to make our solutions available on the website, obviously within the limits of any confidentiality issues our clients have.
  • We encourage clients, who benefit from our advice, to make donations. We would also normally expect some credit or advertising from clients implementing our advice.
  • We will charge for repeat clients. We feel establishing a reputation is important, if you retain our services again it is only fair to expect payment for a service that is obviously valued. In these cases our charges are flexible and negotiated on a case by case basis.

Can I write articles for UnorthodoxY?

Of course, however, we'd ask that you contact us and tell us what you'd like to write an article about. We do this to keep track of the articles we have, to make sure we don't have two people working on the same thing, and to make sure people get proper accreditation for their work. If we approve your idea then you can send in your article and we'll publish it on the site with full credit to you and, if appropriate, links to your site. Why do you keep writing UnorthodoxY like that?

It's a cheap shot. It's an unorthodox use of capitals. However, we'd bet that if you now saw UnorthodoxY written like that, even with no other context, you'd remember that it's a website and what we do. That amount of brand recognition from an extra capital letter - that's UnorthodoxY for you.
